Using TournaPilot during the beta

What this is

TournaPilot is software for running tournaments, operated by ChooseASquare.com LLC. It is in private beta: it is free, it is incomplete, and parts of it will change without notice. If that is not acceptable for the event you are running, wait for the general release.

Your tournament is yours

You own the information you put in. You can export it or ask us to delete it. We use it to run the software for you and for nothing else.

Money

Where entry fees are taken by card, they are charged against your own Stripe account and settle to your balance under Stripe’s terms. TournaPilot never holds your money. Refunds, disputes and tax reporting are between you, your teams and Stripe.

Where you take payment directly — Venmo, PayPal, Cash App or cash — TournaPilot records that it happened and is not a party to it.

What we ask of you

Do not upload information about children beyond what running the event requires. Do not use TournaPilot to publish anything unlawful. Do not attempt to reach data belonging to organisations other than your own — and if you find a way to, tell us rather than anyone else.

What we cannot promise

During the beta TournaPilot is provided as it is, without warranty. We will work hard to keep it up and correct, and we will tell you plainly when we have not. What we cannot do is accept liability for a tournament that went wrong — the person who decides whether the schedule is right is the person running the event.

Ending it

You can stop using TournaPilot at any time and take your information with you. We can end an account that is being used to harm somebody, and will say why.
